The PNW is best known for continuous amounts of rain and trees, but this summer has brought a welcome break from the weather with this heat wave passing through. I am personally one for more overcast skies but I am taking full advantage of the sun kissed glow to my melanin that only summer (or a good highlight) can bring.

They have been open for years and though there are ice cream shops with more hype, Ice Cream Renaissance never disappoints. Freshly made, fun flavors and a chill family friendly atmosphere.
My favorite combo is the strawberries & cream and bitter sweet chocolate lover affair.
Ice Cream Renaissance is a great place to go with your family or friends to escape the heat and enjoy a Vancouver staple.
