With the new year comes new festivals, markets and adventures. I decided to start my new year with a night out to the Portland Night Market.
More than just and excuse for a weekday night out, the Portland Night Market hosts some of Portland’s best craftsmen.
For someone like me who works most weekends, the night market serves as an adventurous meet up for my 9-5 working friends, date night or safe solo outing to see what artisanal treasures await!
My favorite part of the night market of course is the treats! There is something for every kind of foodie and every table has for kind of samples to try from locally crafted artisanal chocolates , hot sauce assortment, micro brewed beverages even small batch infused olive oils imported from Italy.
Once you’ve shopped around the warehouse, step outside for a tasty bite at one of the many food cart offerings carts are always rotating but I can always find one or two carts I can’t decide between (when I really can’t decide I usually get both options)
As the sun starts to and the cold fronts make way for springtime, I highly recommend taking a night out to the market you won’t regret it!
